Great location. The food was great. The service has the shop under control. So here, in a rustic ambience, you can spend a nice evening eating well and never being on dry land.

Very nice, lofty beer garden in the middle of Esslingen. A side canal of the Neckar flows to one side. Great flair! We were also very satisfied with the food! Service very nice and courteous. A clear recommendation from me!

Palmscher Bau 7 people today at noon: After lunch, started the return journey and it happened as it had to come. Severe bulging pains and diarrhea from rösti baked with cheese. I think the food was warmed up because it doesn't knock me out that quickly. My son with spaetzle also had stomach pains and the food was like a stone in his stomach. That was different years ago. I hope for my former adopted home that the PB does not reach the level of a kebab stand. In any case, today's price-performance ratio wasn't right. Oh yes - soap in the men's room should be checked regularly. Beer garden 5 stars, presentation 5 stars, service 4 stars, quality of the food 1 star. Pity!

Very nice beer garden with home-style cuisine, large portions and friendly service. The traditional economy is cozy and worth seeing.

Friendly service, but the spaetzle doesn't seem to be homemade. The food was lukewarm when it came to the table. Instead of getting lettuce like on the menu, you get iceberg lettuce. Not recommended

The food was inedible! I paid almost € 25 for roasting onions and had ordered medium, beef was fried through! It has nothing to do with quality and good food, there were four of us, all dishes were bad, with drinks almost 100 Never left € for very bad food there again.

The beer garden is very nice. The food is far too expensive for the quality. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. Mushroom schnitzel for 18.00 euros with canned mushrooms and Kaufland spaetzle. The potato salad tasted like nothing. The waiter was nice but hardly to be seen. So we won't go any more.

Beer garden: Got over 30 min. waited for the beer! Food was ok. Staff friendly, but without a face mask, and contact details were also not recorded!

We wanted to celebrate our engagement party here. After we were ignored for 25 minutes and were finally served, the waiter's first action was to call my fiancee "Miss" and to answer very rude: "I cannot let the food fly" (at that point we already had 45 minutes) maintained and had no way to order drinks or food). We ordered 7 glasses of sparkling wine, got 9 and the whole bottle, which of course we were allowed to pay. Instead of two bottles of water, we only got one. The food was rather a small portion. It came before the drinks were there. The wine didn't come until we finished the main course. I would recommend this restaurant under any circumstances.

Really friendly condition. Very good Swabian cuisine. Beautiful view. Very clean toilet. No entrance for wheelchair users and difficult for handicapped people because of steep stairs. Feasible, but should be accompanied by an accompanying person. Large umbrellas outside so you don't get wet even when it rains.

Outside catering under beautiful greetings of chestnuts. For a beer garden high quality Swabian dishes at reasonable prices. Friendly service. We would love to come back!

When we wanted to visit our relatives in Esslingen, everyone went to eat together at Palmscher. There were six of us and the rest of the place was full, so I can understand that there are delays in the service. Nevertheless, I did not think it was so nice. Otherwise, everything was straightforward. Delicious food, friendly service despite stress, cozy atmosphere and above all: despite the full premises was enough space hiss the tables and you did not sit "on each other". And the noise level was also pleasant.

Great soups, beer etc. Nice meeting place.

It was my second visit. I ate many meals there, everything was delicious. The waiter was quick and attentive. The toilets are clean. I recommend to visit.

Just stopped by at the Biergarten outside. They welcomed us and immediately served us with drinks and food. We had the small Schnitzel and the Champignon Schnitzel. Food tasted great, it is a little bit expensive but service was super friendly.

The food tasted so "la-la" - meat was warm, but not really fresh, sauce were pretty sour. Only salad and Spätzler were fresh and delicious. You would have to wait a long time for the operation. The higher prices do not correspond to quality offered. We would not recommend the restaurant!

Great location with a beautiful Biergarten. I can't fathom why it doesn't have at least a 4.5 stars rating as it truly deserves it. Food and drinks is served by locals and made by locals unlike the sadly so many fast food places in the old city like Asian or Kebap places. This place fits perfectly into this historic old town of Esslingen. Food tasted great and is truly swabian. Greatly recommended in every way!

Excellent local food! I loved the stay, the locals are great hosts, the presentation is top notch, and both the quality and quantity of food is just to die. Quite literally I was stuffed! The food is specific to a very particular geographic location, it it’s great. I definitely want to come back! :)

Great atmosphere! The food was delicious. You can tell that they made it themselves. 2 stars deducted because the staff was not good, just inattentiveness. And my apple strudel was not so tasty, because it will come out of the box.

We ordered soups - 3 types, all were WAY too salty. But interiors nice. And beer was OK.
